Our residential garbage is deposited at Dodge’s Landfill, 1653 Bass Lake Rd, Espanola, ON P5E 1P9 Phone: (705) 869-3867. Please use our regular garbage pick-up on Wednesdays to dispose of your household waste. Each household is allowed 2 bags per week.
GARBAGE BAGS ALLOWED – PLEASE NOTE 2 GARBAGE BAGS ARE ALLOWED PER HOUSEHOLD. IF YOU HAVE MORE BAGS – EXTRA BAG TAGS CAN BE PURCHASED FROM THE TOWN HALL FOR $5 PER BAG. THANK YOU
Garbage & Recycling Tips & Tricks
– Recycle as much as possible.
– A list of permitted materials are on the GFL Recycle Schedule
– Use reusable water bottles & travel mugs.
– Instead of paper towel, try reusable cloths.
– Opt for food with less packaging.
– If you use small garbage bags, put those into a larger bag for pick up.
Reminders
– 2 bag per week maximum.
– 44lbs per bag maximum.
– Garbage is to be placed curbside by 7AM.
– Place 3 to 5 feet from the road.
– Garbage tags are now $5.00 each per. See By-law 2023-17
– Water access residents require a dump card to dispose of waste, visit the office to get yours!
Commercial properties must obtain their own bin from Riverside Enterprise.
