NOTE: Be sure to complete pages 1, 2 and 3 to the best of your ability/knowledge. (Page 4 does not have to be completed, anything relating to your septic system is to be submitted to the Public Health Sudbury and District Office)
The building permit application form is required to be signed. This can be done either by printing, signing and scanning it back to your computer or by digital signature.
- Print the application form on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper.
- Sign and date the completed application form. (All applicable pages)
- Scan the documents back to your computer in PDF format.
If you do not have access to a printer, you may digitally sign the application form. Please visit the Adobe Help Section for information on digital signatures.
Scan the Application Form and any plans, documents, approvals, etc. to your computer in PDF format.
NOTE: Only PDF documents can be submitted via the online method.
Complete the applicable fields below and add the scanned files (as required).
Examples of documents to be submitted (but not limited to):
- Application Form
- Site Plan (Required for most applications)
- Letter of Authorization (This is required if you are not the registered property owner)
- Foundation Plan(s)
- Floor Plan(s)
- Cross Section(s)
- Roof Plan(s)
If you have more files than spaces provided, you can submit them to email@example.com and reference the address and project description in the subject line.
Once all the required fields are filled and the applicable documents have been attached, press the “Submit Application Form” button.
If the application form has been submitted successfully, you will see a note below the Submit Application Form button. You will also receive a confirmation email to the email that was provided. (Check your junk mail/spam folder if it does not show up within a few minutes)
NOTE: If you have not received correspondence after 2 business days, please contact the office at 705-869-0225 or email the building inspector at firstname.lastname@example.org.
